At an event held to foster dialogue and coordination among managers and heads of departments within the Inter-Islamic Network on Nano-Technology (INN), the implementation of the platform’s overarching educational programs was officially launched, with the aim of expanding international cooperation.
According to the Public Relations, the meeting featured presentations of the macro-level programs and an overview of the educational and executive structure by the Deputy for Strategic and Executive Affairs of INN. During the session, the framework and operational mechanisms of the departments were unveiled with the goal of strengthening educational collaboration at both national and international levels. Participants also shared their expert perspectives on practical approaches to implementing the major programs of this international platform.
Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Strategic and Executive Deputy of INN, explained the platform’s new approach, stating:
“Our goal is to create an international ecosystem that connects education, research, and industry, thereby enabling the application of knowledge and the commercialization of technological achievements across all areas of nanotechnology.”
Discussions on planning and hosting workshops, conferences, and scholarly events were among the outcomes of the meeting. In addition, strategies for collaboration with universities and companies to commercialize knowledge-based achievements were reviewed through the synergistic engagement of representatives from knowledge-based companies and heads of departments for stem cells, regenerative medicine, organ transplantation, skin and related equipment, as well as the Center for Short-Term and Skills-Based Training.
Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.
This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
