With the aim of expanding scientific and technological cooperation, the Secretary of INN visited the University of Technology, Iraq (UoT).
According to the Secretariat, Dr. Abolhassan Imani, Secretary of Inter-Islamic Network on Nano-Technology (INN), met with Dr. Mohsen Nour Hamza, Chancellor of the University of Technology, Iraq (UoT), and presented an overview of the programs, vision, and laboratory capacities of Iran’s MERC and INN.
During the meeting, Dr. Imani highlighted the admission of graduate students, the organization of nanotechnology training workshops, and the implementation of joint laboratory research projects for Iraqi students and researchers as key areas of collaboration between the two sides.
According to the report, the visit, accompanied by Dr. Shaker Hajati, Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies at Iran’s MERC, included a tour of the Faculty of Chemistry and Materials Engineering, laboratory facilities, and meetings with heads of specialized departments at the UoT.
Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.
This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
