The Inter-Islamic Network on Nano-Technology (INN) and Khatam Al-Nabeien University of Afghanistan (KNU) have reached an understanding to expand infrastructural and executive cooperation.
According to the Public Relations, the adoption of the academic super-application Acalearn by KNU, along with the implementation of joint programs for launching education in nanomedicine, nanodentistry, and nanopharmaceuticals, and the indexing of scholarly articles in the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC), will form part of this new phase of collaboration. The university will also establish its official page on Acalearn and utilize the platform for both online and offline educational activities. This super-application is a knowledge-based product developed by ISMI, which is a member of INN and an incubated company at Iran’s MERC.
Another key component of the meeting focused on reviewing the executive mechanisms for membership and the expansion of bilateral cooperation. These discussions, held between Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Executive Strategic Deputy of INN, and Dr. Khadem Hossein Habibi, Head of the Ghazni Branch of KNU, resulted in mutual agreement on the proposed framework. The event was conducted online with high speed and quality via the Acalearn super-application.
According to the report, KNU is one of Afghanistan’s well-known higher education institutions, currently educating more than 4,000 students across 12 undergraduate and graduate programs in the fields of humanities, engineering sciences, and medical sciences.
Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.
This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
