Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between INN and INIC

In line with expanding international cooperation in science and technology, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Inter-Islamic Network on Nano-Technology (INN) and the Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC).

According to the Public Relations, this MoU aims to enhance collaboration in the fields of science and technology among Islamic countries, expand educational and research programs, and strengthen Iran’s scientific diplomacy in the field of nanotechnology.

The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Hamid Omidvar, President of Iran’s MERC and Head of INN, and Dr. Emad Ahmadvand, Head of INIC.

Also present at the event, Dr. Omid Rezaeifar, President of the Center for International Scientific Cooperation (CISC) of Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT), emphasized the importance of coordination among Iran’s scientific institutions to expand international cooperation and organize joint training programs with Islamic countries.

Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.

This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
