Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between INN and KUS

With the aim of expanding cooperation in science and technology, the Inter-Islamic Network on Nanotechnology (INN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Al-Karkh University of Science (KUS), during the Iran-Iraq Science and Technology Week.

According to the Public Relations, the MoU includes provisions for educational, research, and technological collaboration, particularly the exchange of professors and students, the organization of nanotechnology training workshops, and the implementation of joint laboratory research projects for Iraqi professors, students, and researchers. The agreement was endorsed by the President of the Inter-Islamic Network on Nanotechnology (INN) and the President of the Al-Karkh University of Science (KUS).

Dr. Hamid Omidvar, President of INN, stated:

This event represents a valuable opportunity to expand scientific and academic cooperation between Iran and Iraq. The Science and Technology Week of the two countries provides a platform for the development of joint technologies, knowledge exchange, and the strengthening of academic relations. I hope this collaboration will serve as a model for other countries in the region in advancing educational, research, and technological partnerships.

Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.

This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
