The Nanotechnology Laboratory Network aims to establish an efficient infrastructure to support scientific research and the development of emerging technologies by providing researchers and technology-based companies with organized and extensive access to advanced laboratory equipment and services. The key missions of this section are as follows:
- Integrating and networking the laboratory capacities of universities, research institutes, and research centers active in nanotechnology to ensure optimal utilization of existing equipment and infrastructure;
- Facilitating researchers’ and knowledge-based companies’ access to laboratory services, specialized analytical testing, and advanced equipment in the fields of nanomaterials, advanced materials, and related technologies;
- Enhancing the quality of laboratory services through process standardization, development of technical guidelines, and improvement of laboratory performance evaluation systems;
- Empowering laboratory personnel through specialized training programs for experts, operators, and researchers working with advanced equipment;
- Supporting research, development, and innovation by providing the necessary infrastructure for conducting experiments, testing, and prototype development of emerging technologies;
- Establishing a platform for scientific and technological collaboration among laboratories, universities, industries, and knowledge-based companies to accelerate the development of applied nanotechnologies;
- Contributing to the development of laboratory standards and accreditation systems to increase the accuracy, reliability, and international acceptance of testing results.

1.1. Development of an Integrated Laboratory Infrastructure:
Establishing a coherent network of member laboratories across Islamic countries with the aim of sharing advanced equipment, preventing duplication of investments, and increasing the efficiency of infrastructure investments;
2.1. International Standardization and Accreditation:
Advancing toward the development and implementation of common laboratory standards, the establishment of quality assurance systems, and support for obtaining recognized regional and international certifications;
3.1. Digitalization of Laboratory Services:
Designing and implementing a digital laboratory service management system for equipment reservation, test request submission, sample tracking, and online report delivery;
4.1. Development of Specialized Human Capital:
Empowering experts and operators of advanced equipment through specialized training programs, skill-development workshops, and experience-exchange initiatives among member laboratories;
5.1. Support for Commercialization and Industry Orientation:
Directing laboratory services toward addressing the needs of the nanotechnology, energy, and advanced materials industries and transforming the network into a technical arm for knowledge-based companies.
