A meeting was held with the aim of exploring avenues for cooperation between the INN and stakeholders in the energy, oil, and gas sectors.
According to the Public Relations INN, the session discussed the potential of nanotechnology to enhance efficiency in energy industries, reduce equipment corrosion, and improve industrial processes.
Within this framework, the use of innovative platforms such as the “Acalearn” super application for digital education, facilitating connections between researchers, technology companies, and energy industry activists was also highlighted.
Dr. Ali Karimi Morid, Deputy of the INN, pointed to the capacity of international networks hosted by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, and emphasized the importance of developing scientific and technological cooperation among Islamic countries.
Furthermore, Dr. Saeed Beit-Afri, former Deputy Auditor of the Supreme Audit Court and member of the Board of Directors of the Oil Industry Investment Company, stressed the necessity of linking modern technologies with energy industries and deemed the development of technological cooperation in oil, gas, and energy fields as crucial.
Subsequently, Hamed Afri, as the Executive Director of the program, underscored the capacity of Islamic countries in the area of active scientific diplomacy and the organization of joint congresses and events.
The transfer of knowledge and technology among Islamic countries, holding specialized training workshops, developing international scientific articles, and facilitating the export of technological products were cited as objectives of the meeting. According to the plans made, a memorandum of cooperation between the parties is expected to be signed following these consultations.
Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.
This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
