Second International Student Nanotechnology Olympiad to Be Held with Joint Cooperation of Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council (INIC) and INN

The Second International Nanotechnology Olympiad for high school students aged 16 to 19 (INOHS) will be hosted by the “People’s Republic of China”, with the joint cooperation of the Iran Nanotechnology & Microtechnology Innovation Council (INIC), the International Nanotechnology Network (INN), and the “BRICS Academy”.

According to the public relations office INN, the second International Nanotechnology Olympiad for Students (INOHS) will be held with the aim of identifying young talents, expanding nanotechnology education, and strengthening connections among students interested in advanced technologies at the international level.

This event brings together 16- to 19-year-old students from various countries to test their knowledge and capabilities in the field of nanotechnology through an online scientific competition. The People’s Republic of China is hosting this edition, and the Iran Nanotechnology & Microtechnology Innovation Council (INIC) of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the International Nanotechnology Network, along with the BRICS Academy, are participating in the formation and advancement of this scientific program.

The joint cooperation of the INIC and the International Nanotechnology Network in this Olympiad reflects the specialized capacities and valuable experience gained in developing education, promoting nano knowledge, identifying talents, and creating links among scientific actors on the international stage. This collaboration provides a suitable platform for exchanging experiences among scientific institutions, developing cross-border educational connections, and showcasing the capabilities of talented students.

According to the announced schedule, registration for this Olympiad will take place from September 1 to 30, 2026. The final exam will be held online on November 8, 2026, and the results will be announced on November 16, 2026.

Those interested can visit the official event website at www.nanoolympiad.org for information on participation requirements and registration. Additionally, the WhatsApp number +989351911793 has been announced for inquiries and coordination with the Olympiad secretariat.

Notably, the INN Network is an international platform for leveraging the power of science and technology to support inclusive empowerment. The Network strives to provide a dynamic platform for countries to achieve growth, progress, and a knowledge-based economy by fostering collaboration between elites, professors, researchers, universities, research institutes, and knowledge-based companies.‌

This international platform is one of the thirteen scientific networks affiliated with COMSTECH, and it is hosted by the MERC under the MSRT of Iran.
